Definition: When the person you’re seeing suddenly stops responding to any means of communication. It is literally like theybecome a complete ghost.
定义：当你约会的对象突然间就不再与你有任何形式的交流。字面上意思就是说他们完全成了鬼，消失不见。
Used in a sentence: “We went on three dates and then she ghosted me.”
例句：我们约了三回，然后她就如鬼一般就消失了。

2. Slow Fade

Definition: Unlike ghosting, the slow fade is a more gradual way of cutting off communication with someone you’re seeing. The slow fade is when you begin to respond/interact less and less until you stop talking altogether.
定义：与如鬼魅般消失不一样，慢动作消失指的是你约会的对象慢慢地斩断跟你的联系。亦即两人回应或交流的越来越疏，直至不再讲话。
Used in a sentence: “He responds to some of my texts, but I feel like he’s giving me the slow fade.”

确定关系
Definition: This is an acronym for “define the relationship.”
定义：该词是英文“确定关系（define the relationship）”词组的首字母缩写。
Used in a sentence: “We’ve been hanging out for months, it’s about time we DTR.”

渣男
Definition: There are several types of fuckboys. Usually a fuckboy is a guy who isn’t very nice to ladies, or doesn’t act like a gentleman.

Definition: It is commonly used to describe someone who is super single. So, someone is “single AF.”

Used in a sentence: “I haven’t gotten laid in months. I am single AF.”

Definition: To endorse, support, or approve of two people being together.
定义：认可，支持，批准两人在一起。
Used in a sentence: “Did you see them kissing last night? I ship those two.”

脸书官方正式公开
Definition: An acronym for “Facebook official.” This is when you change your relationship status on Facebook to “in a relationship” with the person you are seeing.

Used in a sentence: It’s getting pretty serious, we might make it FBO soon.

Definition: Another way of saying you’re dating someone without actually admitting you’re dating them. These terms are a favorite for those who are afraid of actual commitments.

Definition: For example, someone could post of a picture of their “new shoes” but really it’s just an excuse to share a photo they look hot in.

Definition: This is used to describe someone who just enjoys the chase. So they work really hard to “catch” someone and once they attain them they “release” them.
定义：常用于指只享受追逐过程的一类渣渣。这一类渣渣们通常使用千方百计将猎物追到手，然后立马抛弃猎物转身走人。
Used in a sentence: “She doesn’t want to settle down. She’s the master of the catch and release.”
