Phone: it is the basicunits of the phonetic study, a minimal sound that human speech can produce. Butdoes not distinguish meaning.
Phoneme: it is thebasic unit of the phonology study, it is an abstract collection of phonetic featureswhich can distinguish meaning.
Allophone: refers tothe different realization of the same phone in the different phoneticenvironment.
