So I"m german and read the original german quote: After he said he wouldn"t want to waste his prime on a team which goes into the wrong direction he was asked by a reporter whether he had preferred teams where he"d want to play. He was pretty open about his thought process, basically: If the Hawks continue to tank he is out of there and would like to play for Indiana (he"s friends with Dipo) or Milwaukee (a team Bud could sign with).

He"s being charged with felony assault so there"s a legit chance for jail or visa issues. If convicted of a felony we can void his contract but I think it"s likely he"ll get it down to a misdemeanor.
