一天又一天，一单元又一单元，就这样时间在慢慢的流逝着，但是在时间不断的推移之中，我讲课的认真，他听话的完成任务，一直保持着。慢慢的，在我们共同的努力下，他的英语在以前的基础之上有了明显的进步，他有了信心，我也感觉到了欣慰。
快乐的时光总是短暂的，一个月的时光就这样飞逝，我的课文讲解也接近了尾声。在最后几天里，我给他把这一阶段的学习做了总结，并且再一次指出英语的学习的方法:记忆+不断的练习。刘叶辉说，虽然他不是很喜欢假期还要补课，但是这次补课他感觉没有他原以为的那么枯燥，而是在轻松之中了解了以前遗漏的知识，还是挺开心。他希望我以后有机会还给他补习。学生的进步和喜欢是老师最大的赞赏。我当然挺高兴的，但我对他说，这次补课虽然他感觉到了自己的进步，但是英语内容多，由于时间不充足，有些地方我也许没有讲的特别细致，而打好英语基础对他以后的学习很重要，我希望，他能够在这次补课的过程中总结英语学习方法，利用学到的方法来指导他以后的学习。因为“授之于鱼，不如授之于渔” 。而且我告诉他英语学习有许多需要记忆的东西，他要勤于读课文，这样才能培养良好的语感。希望他能在上学期间就好好努力，永远不需要利用暑假的时间来补课。
在将近一个月的家教实践结束后，对于“老师”这个称谓不再陌生，当别人称呼我“老师”时，我没有了昔日的羞涩，而且我也喜欢上了“当老师” 。有人说教师是人类灵魂的工程师。虽然我的实践只是沾上了“教师”的丁点边，可我分明感到这两个字给我带来的自豪感。对于教师这一职业，我有了全新的认识：教师是学生学习道路的指引者，在学习过程中，给学生培养兴趣，让学生成为课堂的主体，充分发挥他们积极性，教学相长，在学习的过程中，学生可以老师共同进步。从中我也学会了人生道理：成功=可行的计划+持之以恒。
