So in the space of 11 months, King gave up the picks that were used on Draymond Green and Damian Lillard.

If there is ever a sequel to the Ted Stepien Rule, it will be known as the Billy King Rule.

You forgot that Enes Kanter was picked by the Jazz at #3 in 2011 with the Nets pick from the D.Will trade.

Billy King also traded away all the Nets 2nd round picks until 2021.

I would consider his draft record below average. The first draft he ran in 2011, he (essentially) took MarShon Brooks in the first, and landed Bojan Bogdanovic in the second. However, he passed on players like Jimmy Butler, Chandler Parson, E"Twaun Moore, and Isaiah Thomas.

To play devil"s advocate, he was being pushed by the new ownership to make "win-now" moves, and make the playoffs. Which they did, but at the cost of their future obviously.
