This is something that I think was overlooked when the trade happened. Isaiahs a shoot first PG in a similar way as Kyrie, but hes not nearly as good at getting his shot off out of nowhere as Kyrie. In boston he was amazing, but scored mostly off DHOs and pick and roll sets designed to get him shots. He"s nowhere near the same level as Kyrie as an iso guy or late clock bailout.

I don"t blame this issue on Isaiah, I blame it on Cavs coaching for having unrealistic expectations for his offensive role esp. considering the injury. He"s not a plug n play offensive dynamo the same way Kyrie is
