词汇使用中注意事项

选择适合自己分数段的词汇

当大家只需要基本的5分的时候却使用了7分的词汇，就会感觉很怪，就会像特意准备出来的一样，例如： I think my school is very large. 就比较符合5分标准，但是5分水平的学生把large 换成了enormous，就感觉不符合了。反过来说一个想要7分的学生的回答中大量的充斥着低级词汇，think，good，bad，big， small，happy，等常见词汇的时候，估计7分就遥遥无期了。

确保发音准确

当大家学习了一些新的词汇，或者比较好用的加分表达的时候，本来是加分的，可是一旦发音错误了，结果就变成了扣分项，结果得不偿失。例如：de ja vu 似曾相识的感觉，rendezvous， reservoir， karate，这些单词读音就会比较怪异，大家要慎用。所以建议大家学习新单词的时候，第一步一定是听好发音，跟读正确。

确保用法恰当

有些单词的搭配的介词是固定的，有些单词的使用场合是受到限制的，甚至有些词汇是具有褒义，贬义区别的词，所以大家一定要看下原始的例句。

比如

be familiar with 与…熟悉e.g. I am familiar with the song；

be familiar to …对…熟悉 e.g. The song is familiar to me.

too 往往表示贬义 e.g. The river is too dirty正确。 She is too beautiful 就暗指有点嫉妒的韵味了。

针对雅思考试当季的题库，要重点准备相关话题的词汇，比如：珠宝—jewel; gem, karat, emerald, 在不准备的情况下，有人连jewel和jewelry都听不出来，更不要提回答了。要是想要高分的人的话，就需要掌握gem，karat之类的词汇了。

标记词的积累与使用

大家要在口语中多多使用标记词，并且要确保发音是正确的，要么也就会感觉硬性使用的，不够自然。下面的常用的标记词一定要多加使用：well，you know, I mean, now, then, What I mean is…

加分表达的积累与使用

对于像要7分的考生们，一定要多多积累实用的俚语表达，形容词和副词等的使用。例如： fabulous 要好于wonderful； Technically speaking这样的表达都很实用。
