喷油泵总成通常是由喷油泵、调速器等部件安装在一起组成的一个整体 。
其中调速器是保障柴油机的低速运转和对最高转速的限制 ， 确保喷射量与转速之间保持一定关系的部件 。
而喷油泵则是柴油机最重要的部件 ， 被视为柴油发动机的“心脏”部件 ， 它一旦出问题会使整个柴油机工作失常 。
喷油泵有直列式、分配式、单体式等三大类 。
喷油泵要有动力源才能运转 ， 它下部的凸轮轴是由发动机曲轴齿轮带动的 。
由此可见 ， 对柴油机喷油泵的设计及制造提出了严格的要求 。
本次毕业设计任务是对柴油机喷油泵的工艺设计与夹具设计,在柴油机喷油泵零件的加工工艺过程中主要是对8.7H7孔及9H8孔和油泵内圆的加工 ， 其 。

根据铸件的形状特点、零件尺寸及精度 ， 选定合适的机床设备以及夹具设计 ， 通过准确的计算并查阅设计手册 ， 确定了柴油机喷油泵的尺寸及精度 ， 在材料的选取及技术要求上也作出了详细说明 ， 并在结合理论知识的基础上 ， 借助于计算机辅助软件绘制了零件的立体图和工程图,以保障柴油机喷油泵的加工制造 。
